Squalane, also known as ISO thirty alkane and squalane, is made from squalene hydrogenated and can be used as essential oil for raw materials such as balsam and nutritious emulsion. Squalene is obtained from the liver oil of Centrophorus or other deep-sea sharks and has been used as a by-product of vitamin a production from shark liver oil. In recent years, it has been found that unsaponifiable olive oil is rich in squalene, and it is used as raw material to produce squalane (i.e. fully hydrogenated squalene).

1.Squalane can strengthen the repair of skin, effectively form a natural protective film, and help the balance between skin and sebum. Squalene comes from the Latin "Squalus", which means shark.
2.Squalane is a kind of lipid closest to human sebum. It has strong affinity and can integrate with human sebum membrane, form a natural barrier on the skin surface and prevent the invisible water loss.
3.Squalane can inhibit the lipid peroxidation of skin, supply oxygen to skin, effectively penetrate into skin, promote the proliferation of skin basal cells, delay skin aging, improve and eliminate chloasma.
4.Squalane can also open skin pores, promote blood microcirculation, enhance cell metabolism, and help repair damaged cells. It is the gospel of sensitive skin, and has obvious effect on repairing red blood. It can also be used for post sun repair.
